Our mission is to promote trade and investment between India and the UK
The British South India Council of Commerce (BSICC) is an independent organisation dedicated to promoting trade, investment and business relations between the United Kingdom and India, with a particular focus on South India.
- Organise premier business meets so as to showcase the opportunities in both South Indian and UK markets.
- Work with the British Government and UK businesses to facilitate business and investments from South India to the UK.
- Work with State Government and business in South India to facilitate Business and investments from U.K to South India.
- Liaise with UK companies to get their projects implemented and nurtured in South India.
- Promote business, culture and cuisine between the UK and India.
- Providing assistance and directions to business start-ups from the South Indian community in the UK.
- Liaise with the India High Commission in London and British Deputy Commissions in South India so as to deepen commercial ties between South Indian states and UK.
- Lobby with the South India Governments to cut red-tape to help British & NRI businesses in the South Indian states.
